I love quotes – some make me smile, some make me sad but the ones I like the most are the ones that make me think.
I’ve built up a little collection that I would like to share with you. Here’s the next in the series:

There are hundreds of great quotes attributed to Winston Churchill but this one really appeals to me. A business partner was a great salesman but the worst pessimist I have ever met. He was always whining about problems until I told him that if there were no problems in our business we would be over-run with masses of competition, what we need to do is to embrace the problems and be the very best at sorting them out.
He accepted that at the time but soon reverted to his old ways and soon after that we parted company – we doubled the profits within 6 months of him leaving.
Moral: Don’t mix with negative people.
